Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law is the first of its kind, a Law School in the IIT system. This school has the distinguished vision to fulfil India’s dream of becoming the powerhouse for generating, managing and protecting intellectual property. The following courses shall commence in the School during the academic year. Courses are run on self-finance basis.
Applications are invited for Admission test and selection to the following two programmes
- 3-year 6-semester fully residential programme for LL.B. degree in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Classes will begin on 20th July.
- One-and-a-Half year (2-semesters in core courses followed by the 3rd semester in internship with an IPR firm) Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Intellectual Property Law (PGDIPL). Classes to be held in IIT Kharagpur (residential), and in Kolkata extension center of IIT Kharagpur (non-residential).
Selection will be made on the basis of the performance in the admission test, group discussion & personal Interview.
Professional/Work experience will be given due weightage in PG Diploma Course.
Interview dates and venues will be communicated at a later date.
Eligibility for LLB Programme
1. First Class bachelor degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine or equivalent.
2. First Class Master degree in Science or Pharmacy
3. MBA with Science and Engineering background
