Kuvempu University offers the following courses of study through the Directorate of Distance Education. Persons from anywhere in the state of outside are eligible to apply. Applications are invited for the following courses.

I.T.Courses: B.Sc.(IT) & M.Sc. (IT) : In Collaboration with UET, Bangalore & NIIT (Semester Scheme), Fashion Technology & Interior Designing courses: B.Sc. In collaboration with JD Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, Bangalore, UAE., M.B.A (Semester Scheme-4 Semesters with Entrance Exam). MBA is being offered only in select Centres. (Students are advised to check from the study centres before applying).
Specialised Courses: 1. M.Sc. In Total Quality Management (TQM), ADQM, PDQM, DJQM etc. 2. P.G & P.G.D. Courses in Mental Health & Counselling. 3. Diploma in Ethics and Values in Life, profession and Management. 6. B.A. Courses (Basavatatva) in Collaboration with Basavatatva Mahavidyalaya 7. P.G. Diploma in Organic Farming, Agro informatics in Collaboration with Monarch Bio-fertilisers, Chennai.
Eligibility: Any graduate shall be eligible for Post Graduate Course and any candidate who has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of Education shall be eligible for admission to Under Graduate Courses.
Application forms and Prospectus can be obtained from The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Kuvempu University, Jnana Sahyadri, Shankaraghatta – 577 451. Karnataka, in person OR by sending a requisition and self addressed envelope of size 10x12 with postal stamps worth Rs.40/- affixed on the envelope, and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.150/- towards the cost of Application form and prospectus, drawn in favour of The Finance Officer, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta-577 451, payable at State Bank of Mysore, B.R.Project/state bank of india, Shankaraghatta. Amount in any other form like M.O / I.P.O etc., will not be accepted.
Prospectus and Application can also be procured by paying Rs. 160/- at the counters of State Bank of Mysore, B.R.Project, State Bank of India, Shankaraghatta and Main Branches of State Bank of Mysore in District Headquarters i Karnataka State and State Bank of Mysore Branches in Andhra Pradesh and Kerala & District nad Taluk Post Offices in Karnataka. These shall also be available at Sahyadri College, Kuvempu University Examination Regional Office. Opp.Sahyadri College, Shimoga, P.G.Centre, Tolahunase, Near Davangere, Fine Arts College and UBDT Engineering College, Davangere.
Note: 1. The candidates will have to mention the course for which application is required. 2. If adequate number of students are not available, then the University reserves the right to cancel one or any number of the above courses.
Special Features: Study Material, Practical Records & Assignment Books will be provided by the University to students immediately after Admission confirmation. Last date for receipt of filled in applications along with the Admission / Registration fees without fine is and with penal fee of Rs.100/-
Application received after the due date are liable to be rejected.
