The School of Management Studies (SMS) at the University of Hyderabad offers two-year full time AICTE approved residential MBA Programme. Courses offered at SMS are aimed at grooming well-rounded Managers, equipping them with expertise both in functional as well as intra and inter personal areas. Eligibility: Students who wish to apply for admission to this programme at the University of Hyderabad
(a) should have completed a three year bachelor's degree programme (or its equivalent) in any discipline in an institution recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE. Those completing their final examinations can also apply: (b) should have applied for CAT scheduled on (The IIMs CAT advertisement which appeared i leading, newspapers), (c) should apply to the University of Hyderabad indicating their CAT Registration Number and Test Centre Code by November to The Deputy Registrar (Acad. & Exams.) How to apply: Prospectus-cum-application forms can be obtained in person or by post from on all working days from The Dy.Registrar (Acad. & Exams) at the above address against cash payment as follows:
Each copy of Prospectus-cum-Application Form costs: Rs. 600/- for General Category Candidates and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST/PH Category Candidates. The Prospectus-cum-application forms can be obtained by Ordinary post upto November, from the Deputy Registrar (Acad & Exams) at the above address by sending (a) a requisition (b) one self-addressed slip (c) a crossed demand draft for Rs. 650/- for General Category Candidates and Rs. 350/- for SC/ST/PH category candidates drawn in favour of the Financial Officer, University of Hyderabad payable at State Bank of India, HU Campus Branch (Code No. 5916). The Prospectus-cum-Application form can also be downloaded from the University's website at www.uohyd.ernet.in from should be sent to the Deputy Registrar (Acad & Exams) together with a Bank Draft of Rs. 600/- in the case of General Category and Rs. 300/- in the case of SC/ST/PH Category.
Please note that:
Candidates short-listed for Group Discussion and Interview will be notified by the end of March/April, based on their percentile scores obtained in the CAT Test.
Group Discussion/Interviews will be held on the University of Hyderabad Campus for he shourt-listed candidates in April.
Admissions will be finalized in the first week of May.
The School of Management Studies at the University will be using CAT Results for short-listing the candidates for its two year full time MBA Programme. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
